Task: You must email your interview to jonathan.warner@skulin.fo by 23:59 today:-

Check Friday 20th to remind yourself of the instructions for recording and sending the interview. If you have no one to do the interview with you, then you must be both the interviewer and the sportsperson. If you need any help sending the recording to me, please call me on 275271.

Friday 20th March 2020

Task: Record your sports interview. Work like this:-

1. Ask a member of your family (e.g. brother/sister/parent) to be the interviewer. The interviewer asks the questions you have written and you can be the sportsperson who answers the questions.

2. Record the interview on your phone using the phone's audio recorder. Save your interview recording to your phone and email the file to jonathan.warner@skulin.fo (If the phone doesn't have an audio recorder, you can get a free one in the App Store).

3. Tips: Remember to speak clearly and slowly. Practice a few times before you do the final recording.

I look forward to hearing your interviews!

Task: Prepare the answers for the sports interview. Work like this:

1. Read through the interview questions that you wrote yesterday.

2. Think of a good answer for each question and write the answers in your exercise book or in Word online.

3. The answers don't need to be 'true', you can make something up but try to put yourself in the sportsperson's shoes and write down what you think they might say.

4. The answers must not be too short and they must provide information that those listening to the interview would find interesting.

5. When you have finished writing the answers, write an introducton and an ending for the interview. (Just like you have done before when you have worked on writing an interview, for example, who you are, which TV or radio station, who you are going to interview etc.).

Task: Prepare a sports interview. Work like this:-

1. Choose a sportsperson who you would love to interview if you had the chance (could also be a Faroese person).

2. Think of six or seven questions that you would ask him/her.

3. Write the questions in your exercise book (skrivihæfti) or Word online (log in to O365 first to do this).

4. Remember: Open questions (e.g. how? who? why? when? where? what? ) are much better than closed questions.

4. Don't forget to check your questions for grammar and spelling.

5. Read the text below and watch the attached video interviews to get some ideas for questions.
